Dr. Eddie El-Yussif made Metropolitan Detroit his home in August of 2009 when he joined the medical staff of Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, Dr. El-Yussif graduated with honors from The University of Virginia, received his medical degree at The Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital (Garden City, MI), an affiliate of Michigan State University. He is a clinical instructor at Michigan State University School of Medicine.
The purpose of this initiative is to capture what makes a surgeon great through their own words. One by one we will provide the viewer with both written and video stories from some of the great surgeons in the United States. We will pay particular attention to hip and knee surgeons although our work will not be limited to those.
